Coffee & Bookshops

We’re almost through with London, I promise. We should be done by the middle of next week and then we can move onto other things. What those things are, I’m not quite entirely sure yet, but it’ll be good!  The 28th had us going out for coffee at Street Coffee which was a great way to spend a sunny Sunday.  After slowly sipping our caffeine, we headed to Postman’s Park for a walk around as well as checking out the Memorial to Heroic Self Sacrifice.  Continue reading

This is a Swedish Food Post

Sweden knows how to do a lot of things right. Music (ABBA, The Cardigans, Opeth, Lykke Li, Tove Styrke, Swedish House Mafia, Icona Pop, Robyn), fashion (H&M, these people, these other people and that girl we saw at 5:40 in the morning riding her bike looking more put together than anyone has a right to at that time of the day), design (I mean really: Ikea. There’s more, loads more, but that’s all I really need to prove my point.),  they’ve got some flawless athletes (TBH, I just put this here because: Zlatan. Also: Björn Borg. Sweden: Part I of an Undetermined Quantity

Apparently it’s not exactly easy to post about extended travels. Especially when each day was a trip in and of itself and how, exactly, do travel bloggers do it? How? Because after spending five days editing the first part of my pictures (it wasn’t just editing. There was catching up on Melissa & Joey and The Newsroom and Suits and stuff. Multitasking at its finest!), I’ve spent another three wondering how, exactly,  was I supposed to start? Do I do the places I’ve gone and then separate posts for food? And what about all the pictures I took? On average, how many photos and words is a person willing to read in a blog post before they exit? (Have you already exited this post?) After thinking all of these deep, deep thoughts, I finally realized that I hadn’t actually started anything and the days were passing and so, here we are. With a lonely blog, a rambling blogger and lots to share under the cut.  Continue reading
