Little Fun

It’s been gorgeous around here lately. The sun has barely stopped shining (knock on wood) and we’ve been taking advantage of it as much as possible.

Last week I went to visit my friend, Katie, who is also an au pair, and her two little guys and I honestly can’t remember the last time I had had that much fun. Not big fun, but little fun.

Little fun: cooking lunch with someone else. Bundling up the boys and sending them outside while we drank tea in front of the fireplace. Going for a long walk. Building a snow igloo…thing. Snow angels. Snow diving. Drinking hot chocolate and failing at making crepes. All the little things that, on their own may not seem like a lot, may not seem like fun, but when done with the right people you find that’s exactly what they are.

Things I’m Loving:

+ The Business of Mattering – (Delving into what matters in a photograph.)

+ Windows of New York – (Love the simple style and colours.)

+ This quote

+ WSC Writing Competition – (Because I’m still an amateur.)

  1. Some great crisp, distinct colours in these pictures! Love the colorful toque! Almost competes with your brother’s “face with a mohawk” toque he just got:-)
